Six months since the release, Android 8.0 Oreo has finally reached 1% mark in terms of the Android version market share around the world. The current standing of Android Oreo stands exactly at 1.1%.

However, the version, which is still leading in the globe, is the 7.0 as well as 7.1 Nougat. This Android version currently has 28.5% market share, which makes it the most-extensively used Android version ever.

The main reason for Nougat grabbing the larger market share is the most of the high-end smartphones have already gone into the Oreo transition phase.
