Alcatel has launched a new budget smartphone dubbed as “U5 HD” at INR 5,999. This new Alcatel smartphone will be available exclusively via Flipkart. The smartphone U5 HD comes with 5-inch HD display and it has a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front-facing camera along with flash. The Regional Director of Alcatel India, Praveen Valecha said in a statement that“With the latest Alcatel ‘U5 HD’, first time the smartphone buyers can now enjoy a clear and crisp viewing experience on a 5-inch HD display and some fun loving camera features”.He further added, this Alcatel mobile is designed to give our valued consumers the facility to get the most out of every moment, all with an alluring price tag

The device has 16GB internal storage capacity coupled with 2GB of RAM. It is powered by Android Nougat and except from VoLTE-enabled, “U5 HD” is also Videos over LTE enabled. It allows the user to enjoy video calls without any disturbance.
