Alcatel is all set to unveil three new mobile phones just one day before the launch of Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ and two days before the Mobile World Congress. These smartphones include the Alcatel 5 budget flagship device, the Alcatel 1X and Alcatel 3V. The trilogy will be introduced on February 24.
The Alcatel 5 will come with a 5.7-inch almost bezel-less display, a resolution of 720 x 1440 and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MT6750 chipset and Mali-T860 MP2 GPU teamed up with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device carries a 12MP camera on the back along with the fingerprint sensor.
The Alcatel 3V will pack a 6-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek SoC accompanied with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
While the only information we know about the Alcatel 1X is that the display will have a lower resolution than the Alcatel 3V. Even though, it will still carries an aspect ratio of 18:9. It features a single camera and a fingerprint sensor on the back and this handset could be priced at less than $200.
